Palm leaf; generally 7 lines on a folio; ff.93 and 94 damaged, half of f.100 lost; folios numbered by akṣaras, in the way described in RAS Whish MS 18, South Indian Sanskrit MS 19.

Manuscript consists of the following texts: 1. the Alaṃkārasarvasva by Rājānaka Ruyyaka or Maṅkhuka; 2. an unidentified fragment (4 folios, marked ka, kha, ga, gha).

Text of the Alaṃkārasarvasva begins: hariḥ śrīgaṇapataye namaḥ avighnam astu namaskṛtya parāṃ vācan devīn trividhavigrahāṃ nijālaṃkārasūtrāṇāṃ vṛtyā tālparyam ucyate iha bhāmahotbhaṭaprabhṛtayas tāvac cirantanālaṃkārakārāḥ pratīyamānam artthaṃ vācyopaskārakatayālaṃkārapakṣanikṣiptam manyante tathā hi, etc.

It ends: śabdālaṃkāratvaprasaṃgāt tasmād āśrayāśrayibhāvenaiva cirantanamatānusṛtiḥ || samāptañ cedam alaṃkārasarvasvaṃ || || iti Maṃkhuko vitene kaśmīrakṣitipasāndhivigrahikaḥ sukavimukhālaṃkāran tad idam alaṃkārasarvasvaṃ || || || || namaś śivāya śāntāya || || || || śubham astu || || || ||

Winternitz notes that this MS gives Maṅkhuka as the author’s name, whereas Rājānaka Ruyyaka (or Rucaka) is mentioned as the author of this work. In ‘Classified index to the Sanskrit MSS. in the Palace at Tanjore’ by A. C. Burnell (London, 1880) p.54a, the name of the author is given as ‘Kāśmīrasāndhivigrahikamaṅkhuka’. Text of the unidentified fragment begins: iha viśiṣṭau śabdārtthau kāvyaṃ tayoś ca vaiśiṣṭyan dharmamukhena vyāpāramukhena vyaṃgyamukhena vā iti trayaḥ prāyaḥpakṣāḥ ādyepy alaṃkārato guṇato veti dvaividdhyaṃ, etc.

It ends: trirūpatvād iti pakṣadharmmatvaṃ sapakṣe satvaṃ vipakṣād vyāvṛttir iti trīṇi rūpāṇi || vākyanyāyo mīmāṃsakanyāyaḥ ||
