Shair Mekah Madinah, or Shair (Rukun) Haji, by Shaikh Daud of Sunur (Minangkabau). On the ceremonies of the pilgrimage to Mecca, etc. Containing 1096 verses with a postscript of 2 verses by the copyist. Decoated initial pages. European paper. B: 34 ff. Kifayat al-muhtaj fi’l-isra wa’l-mi’raj. Translated in Mecca in AH 1224 [AD 1809], by Daud bin Abdullah of Patani. From the Arabic Kissat Mi’raj an-Nabi by al-Ghaiti (d. 1504) and part of the commentary by al-Kalyubi (d. 1658). Many marginal notes. The MS contains a note on f. 32v. that it was sold in AD 1867.
