History
Peter Williams-Hunt took aerial photographs in reconnaissance missions for the Royal Air Force during and after the World War II. Later, he was interested in the application of utilizing aerial photographs for archaeology studies. He wrote an article on the discovery of Roman site from aerial survey in 1946 (Williams-Hunt & Bradford, 1946). He made the collection of these aerial photographs of Southeast Asia whilst working as an aerial photograph interpreter for the Royal Air Force during and after the World War II.
