The Council Minutes for 9 December 1965 record that a Library Committee was appointed and those for the 14 April 1966 and 8 December 1966 record that the Library Committee Report was approved. Thus we have evidence of Committee meetings for which we no longer have any records. Therefore it is wise to check the Council Minutes if wishing to discover the full extent of the meetings of the Library Committee.
