Correspondence concerning archives pertaining to Queen Lakiyaye and Prince Alamayou of Ethiopia. * Letter from Sheila de Bellaigue, Assistant Registrar, Royal Archives, Windsor Castle to Richard Pankhurst to inform him that there are no letters from Queen Lakiyaye in the Royal Archives but there are possible references to them in the 1872 letters. She sends a copy of a letter from E.W. Hamilton to Sir Thomas Biddulph referencing them. The copy is with this letter. Dated 1 March 1984. * Letter from Daniel Bates to Richard Pankhurst to discuss possible sources of material regarding Queen Lakiyaye and Prince Alamayou. Handwritten, dated 1 March 1984. * Letter from Nicolas Cox, Public Record Office, Kew, to Richard Pankhurst to supply a list of the references to Treasury Papers concerning Prince Alamayou. dated 14 March 1984.
