* A copy of the letter sent from the President of the Royal Asiatic Society to Her Majesty, the Queen-Mother, to express their deep sympathy at the death of her husband, George VI, dated 14 February 1952.
* Letter from Private Secretary, Buckingham Palace, to the President of the Royal Asiatic Society to thank, on behalf of the Queen Mother, the Society for its message of condolence, dated 21 February 1952. These two letters have been glued together in their left top corner.
