Five notebooks labelled "Hindu and Early Indian" containing notes regarding the Hindu religion and Indian culture. It would seem that this was at some time a larger collection as Volume II is absent. They are: * Hindu and Early Indian Vol I - containing notes on royalty and the law taken from sources such as Elliot's History of India, Tod's Annals, Hearn * Hindu and Early Indian Vol III - notes taken from sources such as Hopkins, Fick and Senart * Hindu and Early Indian Vol IV - notes taken from sources such as Senart and Formichi * Hindu and Early Indian Vol V - notes taken from sources such as Fry, Jolly, Hunter, Uyavahav, Mayutha * Hindu and Early Indian Vol VI - notes taken from sources such as Jolly, Weber, Baden Powell, Lyall, Zimmer, McGrindle and Yule's Marco Polo
