Letter from Geoffrey Scott Mowat to Col. Hoysted, RAS Secretary to submit his essay and express his regret that sailing conditions prevented him from posting it earlier. He asks that if it is rejected would they please return the essay in the enclosed envelope. Typed, 1 side dated 28 August 1940. With this letter is a letter from T.S. Wetherall, Dean and Chaplain, Corpus Christi College, Oxford, to add his explanation for the delay in receipt of the essay. Handwritten, 1 side, dated 9 October 1940.
