Scope and content
Two seals which Storey had collected. Their labels identify them as:
* State Seal of Maharaj Man Singh of Jodhpur (1804-1823). The seal, dated 1222 A.H., 1807 C.E., is attached to a 'kharzita' or envelope of gold thread for a Persian letter. The seal is made of red wax, is circular and measures 7.5 cm in diameter.
* Seal of Maharao' Mirza Raja Desarji, Fidwi-i Akbar Badshah Ghazi Batini-i Haramayn Sgarifayn A.H. 1234 (1819) with kharzita bag for Persian letter, made of crimson makhmal with butas of gold and blue thread. The seal is made of wax thread, circular and measures 7 cm in diameter.
