Text consists of Śaṅkara’s commentary on the Taittirīya Upaniṣad.

Winternitz notes that the ‘Prajotpatti’ year in which the text was copied is probably the Prajāpati year corresponding to 1751/52 CE, or possibly 1811/12 CE.

Text begins: oṃ yasmāj jātañ jagat sarvaṃ yasminn eva pralīyate | yenedan dhyāryyate [sic] caiva tasmai jñānātmane namaḥ | yair ime gurubhiḥ pūrvaṃ padavākyapramāṇataḥ | vyākhyātās sarvavedāntās tān nityaṃ praṇatosmy aham || taittirīyakasārasya mayācāryyaprasādataḥ | vispaṣṭārttharucīnāṃ hi vyākhyeyaṃ saṃpraṇīyate | nityānvayīni karmmāṇi upāttaduritakṣayārtthāni kāmyānityāni ca phalārtthināṃ pūrvasmin granthe idānīn tu karmmopādānahetuparihārāya brahmavidyā prastūyate |

It ends: iti śrīmat-paramahaṃsa-parivrājakācāryya-Govinda-bhagavatpūjyapāda-śiṣya-Śaṃkara-bhagavatpādapūjyaviracite taittirīyyakabhāṣyam samāptam || om || hariḥ om śubham astu om visargabindvakṣara- etc. … hariḥ om dhanurmmāse saummyavāre tritīyāyām prajotpatau | taittirīyyaś ca likhitas Sarppe Śeṣādrisūnunā || hariḥ om śubham astu hariḥ om || prajotpattyabhidhe varṣe cāpamāsy asite dine | pakṣe budhasya sutithau tṛ[tri]tīyāyāṃ bhujaṃgabhe | Śeṣādrisūnunā Veṃk[a]ṭasubrahmaṇyena sādhanā | taittirīyopaniṣado bhāṣyaṃ sulikhitam mayā || śubham astu etc. hariḥ om etc.
