Text consists of the Mayūkhamālikā, a Commentary on Pārthasārathimiśra’s Śāstradīpikā (a Commentary on the Mīmāṃsā Sūtras). Somanātha is described as the pupil and younger brother of Veńkaṭādriyajvan, and the son of Sūri Bhaṭṭa, of the family of Niṭṭala. Text begins: āviṣkarotu vibudhair abhivandinīyāṃ vācaṃ sa kopi mama vallabhasārvabhaumaḥ | vaṃśopi yatparigṛhītatayā vibhakti [bibhartti in India Office MS] vācālatāṃ tribhuvanaikavimohayantīṃ | adhigamya kalām akhilam agrabhavād Veṃkaṭādriyajvagurerāḥ [read -guroḥ] | vacanair anatipracurair vyākurve śāstradīpikāṃ viśadavibudhāḥ [viśadam ||2 || vi- India Office MS] praṇamya mūrddhnā bahudhā vaḥ prārtthaye kṛtāvasyāṃ arpayata dṛśaṃ sūkṣmāṃ nindata paratobhinandata vā | etc.

It ends: iti śrī-Niṭṭala-kula-tilaka-Sūri-bhaṭṭa-mahopāddhyāyatanūbhavasya Veṃkaṭādriyajvagurucaraṇānuja-Somanātha-sarvatomukhayājinaḥ kṛtau śāstradīpikāvyākhyāyām mayūkhamālikāsamākhyāyāṃ dvitīyasyāddhyāyasya caturtthaḥ pādaḥ || hariḥ om | śrīgurubhyo namaḥ |
