Text consists of the Subodhinī, a commentary on the Bhagavadgītā by Śrīdharasvāmin, in 18 Adhyāyas.

Winternitz notes that there is an entry by C. M. Whish on the last folio, “Calicut 1826”, and that he things the MS may be 50 to 100 years older than this.

Text begins: vande kṛṣṇārjunau vīrau naranārāyaṇāv ubhau | dhārttarāṣṭrakulonmattagajārohaṇavallabhau | sāratthyam arjunasyājau kurvan gītāmṛtan dadau | lokatrayopakārāya tasmai kṛṣṇātmane namaḥ | … śrīmādhavaṃ praṇamyātha devaṃ viśveśam ādarāt | tatbhaktiyantritaḥ kurve gītāvyākhyāṃ subodhinīm | etc.
