Manuscript consists of the text of the Laḻitopākhyāna, from the Uttarakhaṇḍa (Āyatanakhaṇḍa?) of the Brahmāṇḍa-purāṇa.
Text begins: astu va śreyase nityaṃ vastu vāmāṃgam aiśvaraṃ | yatas tṛtīyo viduṣān turīyan tat param mahaḥ | Agastyo nāma devarṣir vedavedāṃgapāragaḥ | sarvasiddhāntasārajño brahmānandadayātmakaḥ | cacārātbhutahetūni tīrtthāny āyatanāni ca | śailāraṇyāpagāmukhyān sarvāñ janapadān api | teṣu teṣv akhilāñ jantūn ajñānatimirāvṛtān | śiśnodaraparān dṛṣṭvā cintayām āsa tān prati | etc.
F.2b: iti brahmāṇḍapurāṇe Hayagrīvāgastyasaṃvāde laḻitākhyāne prathamoddhyāyaḥ ||
F.9b: iti śrībrahmāṇḍottare Haya- … tṛtīyoddhyāyaḥ ||
F.35: iti śrībrahmāṇḍottare … vaivāhikotsavo nāma caturdaśoddhyāyaḥ ||
It ends: ākhyātam tad avadātaguṇāḥ paṭhantas saṃpatpradāyakam apākṛtasarvaduḥkhaṃ | vijñānadīptikalikāṃ laḻitām maheśīm āsādya te catasa vahanti sadābhitṛptiṃ || || iti śrīmatbrahmāṇḍapurāṇottare Hayagrīvāgastyasaṃvāde laḻitākhyāne mantrasādhanaprakārakathanan nāma catustriṃśoddhyāyaḥ || śrīmahādevyai namaḥ || || samāptaś cāyatanakhaṇḍaḥ || hariḥ oṃ || śubham astu ||
