Palm leaf; from 6 to 9 (in the last part from 10 to 13) lines on a folio. Manuscript consists of the following texts: 1. the Tarkaparibhāṣā by Keśavamiśra (ff.1-30); 2. fragment of the Tarkabhāṣāprakāśikā, a commentary on Keśavamiśra’s Tarkaparibhāṣā, by Cinnambhaṭṭa (f.30b-37); 3. the Kārakavāda by Jayarāma Bhaṭṭa Ācārya (f.1-12); 4. a fragment of the Vādaratnāvalī by Rāmaśāstrin (f.1-13); 5. a fragment of a work on Nyāya, possibly belonging to the Vādaratnāvalī (f.1-29). Winternitz notes that the Siddhārthin year in which the MS. was written may correspond to 1679-80 CE or 1739-40 CE. Text of the Tarkaparibhāṣā begins: bālopi yo nyāyanaye praveśam alpena vāñchaty alasaśrutena | saṃkṣipya yuktyanvitatarkkabhāṣā prakāśyate tasya kṛte mayaiṣā | pramāṇaprameyasaṃśayaprayojanadṛṣṭānta-siddhāntāvayavatarkkanirṇayavāda-jalpavitaṇḍāhetvābhāsacchalajātinigrahasthānānān tatvajñānān niśreyasādhigama iti nyāyasyādimaṃ sūtraṃ | asyārtthaḥ | pramāṇādiṣoḍaśapradārtthānān tatvajñānān mokṣaprāptir bhavatīti | etc. It ends (f.30): etāvataiva bālavyutpattisiddheḥ | iti Keśavamiśreṇa viracita tarkkaparibhāṣā samāptā || yādṛśam grantham ālokya, etc. … siddhārtthyākhye tu varṣesmin bhāskare siṃhasaṃsthite | likhitaṃ paribhāṣākhyam grantham Śeṣādrisūriṇā || Text of the Tarkabhāṣāprakāśikā begins (f.30b): om śakṛn natvāpi yaṃ loko labhate śāntisampadaḥ | sa naḥ pāyād apāyebhyaḥ yogānandanṛkesarī | It breaks off (f.37) with the words: lakṣye tv apy avarttanaṃ asaṃbhavaḥ | yathā gor ekaśaphatvaṃ | kratvantarvarttadhī [?] Text of the Kārakavāda begins: natvā viṣnoḥ padāṃbhojañ Jayarāmas samāsataḥ | karoti kārakavyākhyām iha saṃkhyāvatām mudā | It ends (f.12): tatra saptamīti tat sūtrārttha ity adoṣaḥ || iti śrī-Jayarāmabhaṭṭācāryyaviracita-kārakavādas samāptaḥ || namas te śārade devi kāśmīrapuravāsini | tvām ahaṃ prārtthayiṣyāmi vidyādānan tu dehi me || hariḥ om || Text of the Vādaratnāvalī begins: kavitārkkikasiṃhāya kalyāṇaguṇaśāline śrīmate Veṃkaṭeśāya vedāntagurave namaḥ avighnam astu | … vādaratnāvalīṃ kurmmas tarkkabhāṣānusāriṇīm | nanu granthādau maṃgalam avaśyam ācaraṇīyyam | etc. It breaks off (f.13) with the words: atas tatkālāvṛttibhāvatvaṃ | prāgabhāvatvam iti pūrvoktadoṣābhāvād iti sarvaṃ susthaṃ iti kāraṇatāvādaḥ || nanu yumi miśraṇāmiśraṇayo Text of the work on Nyāya begins: pratyakṣanirūpaṇānantaram upajīvyopajīvakabhāvasaṃgatyā anumānaṃ nirūpayituṃ pratijānīte atheti athaśabda ānantaryyavacanaḥ pratyakṣanirūpaṇasyārtthād avadhitvam avagamyata iti ata eva siddhatvam api nirūpyata iti varttamānārtthakalaśaprayogeṇa cānumānanirūpaṇasya sāddhyatvalābhaḥ evañ ca siddhasāddhyasamabhivyāhāre siddhaṃ sāddhyāyopayujyata iti nyāyena malinan te vapu snāyā ity atrevātrāpi pratyakṣānumānanirūpaṇayoḥ upajīvyopajīvakabhāvalābhaḥ, etc. It breaks off (f.29) with the words: niścitasāddhyavadvṛttatvāt asādhāraṇyāpattiḥ iṣṭatvāt asādhāraṇasatpratipakṣayor anityatādoṣatvavādināṃ prācāṃ matenaital lakṣaṇād iti For more extensive quotations from the texts, see Winternitz catalogue entry.
