Manuscript consists of the text of the Bharttṛkāvya, with the commentary called Jayamaṅgalā; Sargas I-III complete, beginning of Sarga IV, and V, 8 – VI, 71.

Text begins: hari śrīgaṇapataye namaḥ avighnam astu | śrīgurubhyo namaḥ | praṇipatya sakalavedinam atidustara-Bharttṛkāvyasalilanidheḥ jayamaṃgaleti nāmnā naukeva viracyate ṭīkā | lakṣya[ṃ] lakṣaṇañ ca dvayam e[ka]tra viduṣāṃ pradarśayituṃ śrī-Svāmisūnuḥ kavir Bharttṛnāmā rāmakathāśrayam mahākāvyañ cakāra, etc.

F.17b: iti Bharttṛkāvyaṭīkāyāñ jayamaṃgalāyāṃ prakīrṇṇakāṇḍe rāmasaṃbhavo nāma prathamas sarggaḥ ||

Sarga II ends f.40b, Sarga III f.58b. After f.60 there is a lacuna from IV, 11 to V, 8. V, 106 ends f.85b (f.86 which should be the end of Sarga V seems to be lost).

The MS. breaks off (in the commentary on VI, 71) with the words: sakhyasya tava sugrīvaḥ kārakaḥ kapinandanaḥ drutan draṣṭāsi maithilyās s[v]aivam uktvā tirobhavat | ito bulūcāv ity ādinā kṛtam adhikṛtyocyate kṛtyānām akṛtyānāṃ kṛdantarbhāvepi bhāvakarmaṇo[ḥ] kṛtyā iti viśeṣapratipādanārtthaṃ pṛthagadhikāravacanaṃ śeṣās tu kṛtaḥ kartta.
