Winternitz notes that the copy date can be found in the scribe’s colophon (written in Malayalam language) at the end of the MS.

Manuscript consists of the text of the Smṛticandrikā, by Deva (or Devaṇṇa) Bhaṭṭopādhyāya, son of Keśavāditya Bhaṭṭopādhyāya, Priccheda I of the Vyavahārakāṇḍa. Another copy of the same work as RAS Whish MS 128, South Indian Sanskrit MS 129(1).
