Manuscript consists of the following texts: 1. the Madhyārjunamāhātmya from the Skanda-Purāṇa (ff.1-79) and Uparibhāga of the same (f.80-145); the Madhyārjunamāhātmya from the Brahmakaivarta-Purāṇa (ff.146-160); 3. the Madhyārjunamāhātmya from the Liṅga-Purāṇa (ff.161-176). Text of the Madhyārjunamāhātmya from the Skanda-Purāṇa begins: śrīgaṇeśāya namaḥ | advaitadantam ahirājakṛtopavītam akhaṇḍalādivibudhair abhivanditāṃghriṃ | āpannakalpatarum ādṛtahastirūpam ānandavarddhanam ahaṃ śivayor nnamāmi | śrīkaṇṭhaṃ varadaṃ vande śrīdharādrumareḍitaṃ | dhārayantaṃ viyannadyā samaṃ mūrddh[a]ni sudhākaraṃ | suprasannamukhāṃbhojaṃ suvarṇacitivigrahaṃ | gaurīsakham anādyan taṃ bhajehaṃ jagadīśvaraṃ | om ṛṣayaḥ | śrutāni puṇyasthānāni tīrtthāni vividhāni ca | etc. Part I ends (f.79): iti śrīskānde purāṇe maddhyārjjunamāhātmye triṃśoddhyāyaḥ || maddhyārjjunamāhātmyaṃ saṃpūrṇaṃ | śrīmaddhyārjjuneśvarāya namaḥ | ājñāgaṇeśvarāya namaḥ | śrīdakṣiṇāmūrttaye namaḥ || hariḥ om avighnam astu . Part II begins (f.80): mahāgaṇapataye namaḥ | śrī-Śaunakaḥ | nadīnadapurāṇajña tīrtthavaibhavakovida | śrutaṃ śaivarahasyam me tvattas sāṃgam mahāmate | gamanāgamanañ caiva maddhyārjjunapateḥ prabhoḥ | It ends (f.145b): iti śrīskāndapurāṇe Sūtaśaunakasaṃvāde uparibhāge kṣetravaibhavakhaṇḍe śrīmanmaddhyārjjunamāhātmye kalyāṇatīrtthaśikharātrivaibhavanirūpaṇan nāma dvipañcāśoddhyāyaḥ || śrīmahāmaṃgaḻamūrttaye namaḥ | śrībṛhatkūcāṃbānāyakīsametaśrīmahāliṃgamahāmūrttaye namaḥ || Text of the Madhyārjunamāhātmya-Purāṇa from the Brahmakaivarta-Purāṇa begins (f.146 = 1): śrīmahāgaṇapataye namaḥ | Nārado munivaryas tu kadācit caurānanaṃ | pādamūlam upāśritya vavande pitaraṃ svakaṃ | sabhāyām mānito bhūtvā brahmaṇā patmayoninā | upaviśyāsane divye sarvadevais supūjitaḥ | dṛṣṭvā munir brahmasabhāṃ mūrttāmūrttajanai[r] vṛtāṃ | etc. It ends (f.160b = 15b): iti śrībrahmakaivarttapurāṇarahasye śivavaibhavakhaṇḍe brahmanāradasaṃvāde śrīmanmaddhyārjjunamāhātmye ṣaṣṭhoddhyāyaḥ || Text of the Madhyārjunamāhātmya-Purāṇa from the Liṅga-Purāṇa begins (f.161 = 16): śrīmahāgaṇapataye namaḥ | naimiśe nimiṣakṣetre Śaunakādyā maharṣayaḥ | dvādaśābdakratuvaraṃ cakruḥ kailāsahetave | tadāyāto mahāpūjyaḥ Sūtaḥ paurāṇikottamaḥ | śivasaṃkīrttanaṃ kurvan tripundrāṃkitadehavān | etc. It ends (f.176b – 31b): iti śrīmalliṃgapurāṇe nāgaramaddhyamakhaṇḍe Sūtaśaunakasaṃvāde śrīmanmaddhyārjjuneśvaramāhātmye pañcamoddhyāyaḥ || śrībṛhatkūcāṃbāsametaśrīmahāliṃgamahāmūrttaye namaḥ || hariḥ | om | For more extensive quotations from these texts, see Winternitz catalogue entry.
